Required Information

When you make a booking we will ask you for the following details:

  • Your Name
  • Contact information including address, email address and telephone number.
  • Credit / Debit card details (which are securely stored and will only be accepted over the telephone or by way of your input into our encrypted online booking reservation system). We request that you DO NOT provide card details by email.

We ask all our guests to present a form of government-issued identification to verify their identity and age. Our services are contracted with persons over the age of eighteen and we reserve the right to verify the age of patrons at any time and may reject doing any business with a person who does not have valid age identification.Guest reservation and identification information are stored electronically within password-protected software.

We take active precautions when storing data in a secure manner. On your arrival you will be asked to complete a registration form to verify your identity, once completed this registration form is kept in a secure location and can only be accessed by authorised personnel.

Credit Card and Other Payment Information

When you choose to pay us using credit or debit card using our processing terminal we will have a printed receipt with your card details and total amount. This receipt has to be kept for a minimum of 7 years; however it is stored in a secure location with access to authorised personnel only. This slip is kept separate from your other details so that the information cannot be used to identify you.

If you make a booking through our website you are required to provide us with your credit card details including the card number, CVC code and expiry date. This information is used to guarantee your reservation and will only be processed by authorized personnel.

Use of Personal Information

The information we hold on our guests will only be used in connection with the services we are providing. You may be contacted to verify reservation and other service details, and as a follow-up to any service we have provided. We will contact you with marketing and promotional information if you have signed up to receive information during the reservation process or on our website. You may use links provided in email communications to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.

Third Party Websites

Your personal details will not be handed to any third parties. Our website does contain links to enable you to visit other websites that may be of interest. Once you have used these links to leave our site we are not responsible for the privacy policies of these other companies so you may wish to visit their own individual privacy policy.

Requests for Information

You may request that we provide you with details of any personal information we hold about you. Requests may be made via email to info@themandevillehotel.com. To do this you will need to contact us in writing and providing identification. Under GDPR you have ‘The Right to be Forgotten’ where you as a customer can, at any time, request that we remove all your personal information from our system. However it is important to remember that any Right to be Forgotten request does not override requirement to hold information under any other legislation, for example, you cannot request for financial records to be destroyed that you undertook in the last 7 years at the Mandeville Hotel.

You may request your right to be forgotten by writing to us with identification and we will write back to confirm your data deletion or the need to keep it under law.
